A selection of resources all available from the Downloads page
Below you can see the kind of things we give away free from our downloads page. All of the resources are subsidised by the shows, so why not get in touch and treat your pupils to a truly fun experience as we raise attainment through entertainment.
Pupils Friendly Level Booklet
For teachers who aren't afraid to let their pupils take charge of their own progress, this booklet breaks down the requirements for each of the reading and writing levels (1-7). Pupils are required to find evidence in their own work to match the powers of each superhero in turn.

English GCSE Revision Guide
In my humble opinion, this is one of the best things we've created. Ideal for AQA Paper 1, but check this out even if you're with other exam boards.

Free Scheme of Work
We have designed a scheme of learning to support the application of the ‘Punctuation Fun’ DVD (where you will find the short films, karaoke files and sketches that are referenced to throughout). You can also use this scheme without the DVD as we have also included all the other resources COMPLETELY FREE!
The objectives for this publication are:
- To raise attainment in writing by improving the use of punctuation and encouraging children to experiment with different punctuation usage
- To provide lessons which encourage individuality and creativity
- To raise pupils self esteem and confidence
- To teach all groups of learners irrespective of level, age or key stage (can be very successful for extending the punctuation usage of more able; adult learners; EAL)
With each area of punctuation there are easy to use colour coded documents:
- Individual lesson plans
- Short teaching video explaining how to use each punctuation mark (see DVD)
- Punctuation sketch (see DVD)
- Normal and Karaoke version of punctuation song (see DVD)
- Script of the sketch
- A4 size poster of success criteria for punctuation
- A4 caption of the punctuation slogan
- Comic strip of the sketch
- All electronic resources required to teach the lessons.
Podcasts cover the teaching points of using . ? , ! ‘ “ “ ; ( ) and paragraphs. Each podcast is short, utilising humour, sound effects and catchy phrases to support children in remembering the teaching points. They are suitable for use with whole classes (can be used as a whole class booster) or intervention groups, giving direct focus for TA or other adult taught groups. If you run the programme from start to end it will take approximately 9 weeks.
The scheme is a valuable (yet free) addition to any school and you can click here to download it.
Alternatively, you can purchase the album from iTunes.
Contains all the resources from the Grammar Show. Alternatively, you can purchase individual video resources from the shop at the same link.
